The seeds for Fenrick’s Craftworks were planted in early 2021, when I, Ryan Fenrich, knew that office work was not for me. I doodled and daydreamed about a grand company, producing beautiful works and legacy pieces.
Having very little experience in that space, I began work in a huge industrial woodshop for a couple of years beginning in 2022. It was there I learned both traditional carpentry techniques and methods, as well as the use and programming of a CNC router. It wasn’t long before I could see the potential for making cool signs, boards, etcetera and I began making my own pieces on the side at work.
The entrepreneurial spirit never left me, and I chose to start my own business out of my garage in December 2023, officially incorporating in 2024.
The journey of design, making, and entrepreneurship has all but confirmed for me that I am in the right place. I will continue to hone my craft, grow my business, and reach new limits of what I can do. Thank you for following along, and for your support of my business.
